|Visual Perception and Aboriginal Art ||

Emeritus Professor Barbara Gillam will examine the innovative perceptual skills of Aboriginal bark painters, especially in depicting figure-ground and occlusion. She will also discuss the visual meaning of this art and its interaction with conceptual meanings.
